EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Two men are now in custody after a police standoff on the 1500 block of Ravenswood Drive in Evansville.

Police say Christopher Debose threatened a person with a gun, then got into a truck with another man. Debose was arrested sometime after the incident and prior to the other man leaving the scene. Debose was charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon and pointing a firearm.

Police say the other man, identified as Andrew Cooper, went back to his residence on Ravenwood Drive after Debose’s arrest. Police say that Cooper refused to come out of his home when police were looking for the gun used in the incident.

A standoff then occurred when police believed the occupant of the home may have been armed. Police say they then obtained a warrant to search the residence and the standoff ended.
