    Severe storms possible in Evansville area Monday. Here's what forecasters are saying.

    Severe weather is possible in the Tri-State today and again on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

    Here's a quick look at what forecasters are saying about the timing, intensity and location of the thunderstorms.

    What kind of severe weather is possible in Evansville and Henderson?

    The main concerns is for damaging thunderstorm winds of 60 mph or higher. There are also much smaller chances for large hail and tornadoes, according to the Storm Prediciton Center .

    The Tri-State is in a "slight risk" area for severe weather on Monday, which is the second-lowest on the five-level scale the Storm Prediction Center uses, ranging from "marginal" to "high."

    What time could severe weather happen in Evansville and Henderson?

    In a morning briefing packet sent to media and emergency managers, the National Weather Service said the best chance for thunderstorms (and any severe thunderstorms) would be in the afternoon and evening hours.

    Will there be more storms on Tuesday?

    The National Weather Service says there's a "marginal" risk for severe weather on Tuesdya in the Tri-State.
