Days after announcing that Bartlesville's iconic Price Tower was closing and then up for sale , owner Cynthia Blanchard announced that it is now up for auction.

Set to take place in seven weeks, Frank Lloyd Wright's only skyscraper will be placed on the Ten-X Commercial Real Estate Auction Platform, with bidding scheduled to take place from Oct. 7-9, 2024, according to a news release on Tuesday.

The auction will involve the sale of the Price Tower property, though the accompanying art collection will be addressed separately in "Phase 2" of the ownership transition. No additional details were provided about Phase 2 in the news release.

"We are committed to securing a fair and competitive sale, and we encourage all interested parties to participate in this unique opportunity to become a part of the ongoing history of Price Tower," real estate broker Scott Schlotfelt wrote.

The press release also noted that Blanchard would entertain offers prior to the auction if it met the reserve.
