P1🦪🦪🦪 🍽️ Midtown Oyster Bar 📍Thames St., Newport, RI Rhode Island oysters are just fresh, sweet, with a subtle saltiness of the sea, and not fishy at all 👍 We ordered one from each region and they all tasted similar. Their clams are pretty good too 🦪 P2🍰🍰🍰 🍽️ Pastiche Fine Desserts 📍 92 Spruce St, Providence, RI 02903 The famous fruit tart! At first, I couldn't believe a simple fruit tart could be so delicious that everyone recommended it and even took it to go, but my curiosity won me over! It really is delicious 😭 The first time I went, they were all reserved, so the next day I waited at their door as soon as they opened 😂 If you want a whole tart, you need to order 4-5 days in advance ‼️ If you walk in, you can only get a single slice which is quite a bit more expensive than buying the whole thing, about $9 after tax per slice, while the whole costs only $36! Also tried the chai tea latte and hot chocolate, both were just okay, not very rich in flavor, wouldn't really recommend the drinks. P3🦞🦞🦞 🍽️ Benjamin’s 📍Thames St., Newport, RI Had crab cakes and steamed lobster, the taste was okay, not highly recommended. Plus, this restaurant automatically adds a 20% tip to the bill and the service isn't great. P4🥪🥪🥪 🍽️ Block Island Beach Bar 📍 32 Dodge St, New Shoreham, RI 02807 The lobster roll is delicious! The BBQ beef sandwich is also not bad, but a bit too sweet and salty for me. The tomato baked mussels were okay, but also a bit salty. Malibu Bay Breeze is good, worth a try! 🍹 P5-7🍤🍤🍤 🍽️ Los Andes 📍 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI Highly recommended Peruvian cuisine! The lobster fried rice is amazing 😍 It's moist rather than dry, almost like a stewed rice dish! Super tasty and the portions are huge, one order.
