There are 73 Big Lots in Pennsylvania, and according to the location finder on Big Lots website, the Big Lots in Exton is set to close before the end of the year

That Big Lots store is located at 201 West Lincoln Highway.

The website for Big Lots store in Exton is running a banner announcing the closure and a 20% off sale on remaining stock.

The other 72 locations do not appear to be closing.

    Why is Big Lots closing?

Big Lots announced in its filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission plans to open three new stores while closing up to 40 locations before the end of the year.

It its filing, Big Lots pointed to declining revenue due to a drop in net sales, along with prolonged sales slides across Big Lots' home furnishings division.

Big Lots also lost money through declining sales of consumables, food and seasonal items.
