Isabela Ferrer Says Taylor Swift Helped Her Get ‘It Ends with Us’ Role (Exclusive)

Isabela Ferrer hit the NYC premiere of “It Ends with Us” on Tuesday in a floral Oscar de la Renta dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry — all styled by her co-star Blake Lively!

“Extra's” Mona Kosar Abdi spoke with Isabela, who revealed that Blake’s BFF Taylor Swift actually had a hand in her casting!

Isabela shared, “She was a helpful part of the audition, which I found out later when I got it, and that rocked my world.” Ferrer added, “I have no words.”

Isabela plays the younger version of Blake’s character Lily Bloom, and she shared the advice Blake gave her for her first-ever movie role.

Isabela commented, “She said, ‘You just have to trust that you’ve got it.' If you have your own self-assurance, and you know that you’re meant to be there and you have that self-worth, that is what’s going to take you far. So, I'm trying to do that."

Isabela said she feels “so lucky” to have Blake as part of her support system in the industry. Isabela gushed, “She is an angel. She is a guiding light. She is a force. She is everything you'd want as a mentor and as somebody to look up to. It’s a dream.”

She reflected on being part of a movie that has such a passionate fan base from the Colleen Hoover book, noting, "It's just such a privilege."

She added, "The complexities of Lily, the dynamics of that character, it's so exciting as an actor to be able to play a role like that that isn't one note. She's so multi-faceted."

Isabela also showed some love for her scene partner Alex Neustaedter, who plays young Atlas, saying, “Alex did such great work and he was so wonderful to work with. When you can have that dialogue and that comfort with somebody, it makes your job so much easier."

Isabela and Alex were both at the "Deadpool & Wolverine" premiere as guests of Blake and Ryan Reynolds, and she raved, "It was so good! Ryan and Hugh and Sean Levy, they are geniuses. They're mad scientists."

Standing in front of a UrbanStems floral arrangement, she laughed about their universes crossing over in a hilarious promo video featuring Brandon Sklenar getting grilled by Ryan, Hugh, and Ryan's mom Tammy. "It was so funny," she remarked. "I got to watch it happen and I was like, 'This is gonna be so good. I'm excited for people to see it.'"

As for the buzz that Brandon could be the next Wolverine, Isabela said, "I think he could, I really think he could."

But first, will we see the "It Ends with Us" sequel book "It Starts with Us" adapted into a movie? Isabela is totally on board!

"Are you kidding me? Yeah!" she exclaimed. "Get me on it. I'm doing it. Let's go!"
