El Paso ESD No. 2 open new fire station in Fabens

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — The El Paso County Emergency Service District No. 2 (ESD) is inviting the public to the grand opening of their newest fire station.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 at 219 W. Main St. in Fabens, Texas, according to the news release by El Paso County ESD No. 2.

El Paso ESD No. 2 was established in 1984 and services the following communities within El Paso County:

Anthony
Canutillo
Clint
Fabens
Montana Vista
San Elizario
Socorro
Tornillo
Vinton
Unincorporated areas within the district

The district provides medical and fire services through the Fabens Fire Department, El Paso County ESD No. 2 said.

The event will have performances from Fabens High School Band, Fabens High School Cheerleaders and local singer Irma Salvio.
