Muggsy Bogues took to X to share a picture of himself playing basketball with a young Stephen Curry during a Toronto Raptors training session. He joked that he was posting up the greatest shooter in the history of the sport, and noted that their heart as players mattered more than their height in a hashtag.

"Nothin' to see here just me posting up the greatest shooter to ever walk this earth."

Muggsy Bogues was a teammate of Stephen Curry's father Dell, while the two were playing together for the Hornets. Both players spent nearly a decade in Charlotte. In 1999, a few years after both left the Hornets, the two reunited on the Toronto Raptors, as the young franchise was trying to get itself off the ground.

Curry clearly got the advantage of spending time with other NBA players and learning the game while playing with them. Bogues himself would have been an inspiration to Curry, as Bogues is the shortest player in the history of the NBA, but was still able to find success in the league with multiple teams.

While Curry was much taller than Bogues when he entered the NBA, he was still considered an undersized guard. Curry would go on to become one of the greatest players in NBA history and cement himself as the greatest shooter of all time with his incredible, never-before-seen ability to shoot the lights out from deep.

Curry has built an incredible legacy for himself since entering the NBA 15 years ago. Curry has won 4 NBA championships, a Finals MVP, 2 regular season MVPs, including the only unanimous MVP in NBA history, and has been selected to 10 All-Star and All-NBA teams in his career.

Stephen Curry Added To His Legacy With Olympic Gold Medal

Stephen Curry was missing one major accolade from his resume - an Olympic gold medal. But he corrected that this summer when he represented Team USA for the first time at the Olympics. And he did it in magnificent fashion, playing two of the best games of his career in the final two games of the tournament to secure the gold for Team USA.

Curry averaged 14.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 0.7 steals at the tournament. Curry's sensational showing at the tournament led to him being named to the Olympic All-Star Five team along with LeBron James. Curry was so impressive that Stephon Marbury feels that he should have been named the Olympic MVP over LeBron James.

LeBron James spoke about playing with Stephen Curry, marveling at his talent and ability to influence the game . It truly was a sensational tournament for Curry, who joined an elite list of players who have won an NBA championship, Finals MVP, regular season MVP, and an Olympic gold medal.

Curry will now set his sights on the NBA season, as he and the new-look Golden State Warriors attempt to re-establish their dominance and compete for an NBA championship. The Warriors are far from the strongest team in the league, but with Stephen Curry, they will always have a chance.
