Kobe Bryant has gone down as one of the greatest players in NBA history, but he certainly isn't in the conversation for the nicest teammate the league has ever seen. Bryant was very harsh on his teammates and a video recently resurfaced on X, that showed him brutally talking trash to Jeremy Lin during a practice session in 2014.

"He don't want it... This motherf***** don't got s**t," Bryant said. "You ain't got s**t on me. Go ahead, shoot. Shoot. Motherf***** can't even get ready to shoot. F***** didn't even want to shoot that s***. Talked his a** right into that bull****. F***** don't want no problems with me. Practice get real uncomfortable when I'm out this motherf*****."

The situation then got even worse for Lin after he turned the ball over. Bryant didn't mince his words when reacting to the turnover.

"That motherf***** is sleeping out here," Bryant stated. "Motherf***** soft like Charmin, out this motherf*****... God damn, is this the type of s*** that go on when I'm not in practice? God damn, now I see why we lost god damn 24 games. F***ing soft like Charmin."

That was vicious. While Lin bore the brunt of it, Bryant had some choice words for some of his other teammates too there. He didn't practice with the team all that often at this stage of his career, to save his body from more wear and tear, and did not like what he saw from his teammates on this rare occasion that he was with them.

Bryant demanded perfection from those around him but what he saw was anything but that. There was a lot of mediocrity surrounding him, in general, during his final years with the Los Angeles Lakers and he wasn't a very happy camper as a result.

Bryant's frustration with the situation he found himself in seemed to boil over in this infamous practice session, that took place in December 2014. At the end of that month, the Lakers had a 10-22 record and if you thought that was bad, things were about to get much worse.

The Lakers would finish the 2014-15 season with a woeful 21-61 record. Their 25.6% win rate was the worst in franchise history for a single campaign, at the time.

For his part, Bryant averaged 22.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game in 2014-15. He only played 35 games due to injuries and it was clear that the end wasn't far away for him. It would be just a year later in 2016, that he would retire.

Nick Young Revealed Kobe Bryant Didn't Talk To Jeremy Lin After He Tried To Mess With Him

Getting back to Lin and Bryant, the two appeared to never get along at all during their time as teammates. Nick Young, who was on the team at the time, revealed that Bryant didn't even speak to Lin after he tried to mess with him once.

"Nobody really messed with Kobe like that, to the point of just messing with him. I remember when Jeremy Lin tried, but it didn't end well. It didn't end well for Jeremy. I felt bad for Jeremy Lin."

"I forgot exactly what happened, but I know they didn't really click at all. After that one practice, Jeremy Lin tried to get in the middle of the huddle and say a couple of words, like, 'We could keep it on the court, but don't do this or do something', and Kobe said something, something I forgot, and then didn't talk to Jeremy for the rest of the season."

It was no surprise then that Lin lasted just one season. After averaging 11.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game in 2014-15, he got a two-year deal from the Charlotte Hornets and rushed out of Los Angeles.
