Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby considers LeBron James to be one of the greatest players in NBA history, but he has Kobe Bryant ahead of him on his GOAT list. During a recent appearance on the OGs Show , Crosby explained why Bryant and Michael Jordan are above LeBron for him.
"My GOAT list, I'm taking Kobe over LeBron," Crosby said. "I think LeBron like I respect his greatness. He's in the top three, no question. But if it really comes down to it, in my opinion, you got Game 7 on the line. I'm taking MJ and I'm taking Kobe if I want to win a title. That's just my opinion."
While I don't agree with Bryant being above James in the all-time rankings, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Crosby's reasoning for that, though, is a bit suspect. The three-time Pro Bowler stated that he would take Kobe over LeBron for Game 7s but the numbers would indicate that's not a great idea.
Bryant played in six Game 7s in his career and had a great 5-1 record, but he didn't perform as well as you'd think. He averaged 22.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game, and shot just 38.9% from the field, 37.0% from three, and 67.3% from the line.
LeBron, meanwhile, has played in eight Game 7s in his career and has gone 6-2 in them. Unlike Kobe, he has put up incredible numbers in those do-or-die games, averaging 34.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.8 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game. He has been more efficient too, shooting 48.7% from the field, 33.3% from three, and 77.0% from the line.
James has also won each of his last six Game 7s, and I would certainly want him over Bryant on my team in that situation. It's a shame that LeBron still doesn't quite get the respect he deserves as a clutch performer, as he almost always steps up in the biggest moments.

Maxx Crosby Hilariously Revealed When His Beef With LeBron James Started
Crosby also played basketball growing up and during this episode, was asked who were the players he watched. The 27-year-old pointed to Dwyane Wade and revealed how his fandom for Wade led to him having beef with LeBron.
"The first dude that was like my favorite player was D-Wade," Crosby stated. "... Had his jersey, I was a die-hard D-Wade fan and once LeBron went to Miami, that's when my beef started with LeBron because I couldn't root for D-Wade the same because they'd call me a f***ing bandwagon.
"I didn't know what to do," Crosby said. "I'm like I'm lost right now. I grew up in Michigan, I love the Pistons and then they got so bad, and then D-Wade was like my savior. Then LeBron f****d that all up."
You certainly would have been called a bandwagoner if you were rooting for the Heat after LeBron joined in 2010. So, I can understand Crosby being a little bit upset about that. James did, though, help Wade win two more rings in 2012 and 2013, so I'd say that he made up for it.
