A'Ja Wilson broke the record for the most points scored in a single WNBA season. It was an incredible moment and one that the Las Vegas Aces celebrated on their X account. However, Wilson caught that they might have made a sly reference to her rumored boyfriend, NBA star Bam Adebayo , and reacted as such on social media.

Bam Adebayo and A'Ja Wilson have been rumored to be in a relationship for some time now, with their earliest links coming all the way in July . Since then, the two have seldom been spotted together in public, choosing to maintain the element of privacy in their personal lives.

Regardless of the jokes, it is a historic achievement for A'Ja Wilson, who continues to cement herself as one of the greatest players in the history of the league. She has been a dominant force in the WNBA and has carried herself as an absolute superstar during her career.

This incredible achievement comes just a month after she helped lead the Team USA Women's squad to the gold medal at the Paris Olympics. Much like her rumored beau, she found success in Paris while representing the U.S. This moment wraps up an incredible year, where she became the WNBA star on the cover of NBA 2K25 .

As for Bam Adebayo, he will be proud of his significant other and hope that her incredible achievement can help rally her and the Las Vegas Aces to the WNBA championship once again.

A'Ja Wilson Still The Face Of The WNBA

With the recent emergence of Caitlin Clark in the WNBA, there have been a lot of discussions about her potentially becoming the face of the league during her rookie year. After all, attendants and ratings have seen a never-before-seen spike after her arrival into the league, and she is a wildly popular superstar.

However, when the Aces played the Fever last night, it was clear that Clark still has a way to go before she can eclipse the massive star that A'Ja Wilson is. Both players had great games, but their stat lines show the difference between a superstar player in their prime and an incredible, yet inexperienced rookie in the WNBA.

A'Ja Wilson put up 27 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals in the Aces' win against the Fever. Whereas Caitlin Clark underperformed, putting up just 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists. Clark will be able to call herself the face of the WNBA, and the best player in the league one day.

But for now, A'Ja Wilson is the cream of the crop in the WNBA and has set the benchmark for the best the league has to offer.

For now, she will shift her focus on leading the Aces to a three-peat, as they try to win their third WNBA championship. The Aces have the chance to become the first team since the Houston Comets to three-peat as WNBA champions.
