Gil's Arena hosted yet another Monday Night Football Tailgate party yesterday and it was a wild one. At one point during the festivities, Gilbert Arenas and Nick Young agreed to a bet, which the latter lost and he was forced to jump off a roof and into a pool as a result.

The bet was placed on a swimming race between Arenas and a guest. The guest asked for $2,000 if he won and in response, the former NBA star stated that if he won, then two people would have to jump off the roof.

Young agreed to be one of them as he believed Arenas was certainly going to lose, but that didn't prove to be the case. His former teammate used some underhanded methods to get the win and he had to jump.

I'd say Young should have known that Arenas would try some tricks, with how long they've known each other, but he didn't. Fortunately, it didn't seem like the 39-year-old hurt himself in any way by taking that leap.

Gilbert Arenas Wants Nick Young To Forgive D'Angelo Russell

While Young is quite a laid-back character, there is one individual who can get him all riled up, D'Angelo Russell. In 2016, Russell recorded him in secret when he was admitting that he had cheated on his then-fiancee Iggy Azalea, and the video got leaked. Azalea broke things off because of it and Young has been upset with his former teammate ever since. Arenas wants Young to stop getting mad at Russell, though.

"When you break it down like that, it all comes back to perspective. You're looking at the whole picture, right? And I don't know."

"Maybe it's because we usually just focus on what's in front of us. What's in front of us is, 'He snitched on me. F**k that. What happened? This happened, that happened, and this is where we are now.'"

"If you're mad about this part, then you have to erase all of that. A lot of people don't look at life that way."

Arenas believes the breakup benefited Young in the long run and wants him to let go of his grudge now. I don't think he is going to let it go, though, but time does heal all wounds, so perhaps one day in the future, the two will mend fences.
