    Fairfax County paw parents can get their pets microchipped for free during National Lost Pet Prevention Month

    FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — For the remainder of July, paw parents in Fairfax County can get their pets microchipped for free, thanks to the county’s shelter.

    ‘Almost sounds too unreal to be true’: Officer rescues lost dog from Fairfax County sewer system

    In honor of July being National Lost Pet Prevention Month, the Fairfax County Animal Shelter is offering free microchips at the shelter’s Vaccine and Microchip Clinics.

    All clinics operate on a first-come-first-serve basis and only accept cash.
