Altamont Boys and Girls Golf Competes At Flora
The Altamont boys and girls golf teams both competed at Flora Golf and Country Club on Friday. On the boys side, Altamont shot a 191 with Charlie Goeckner leading the way with a 46 while teammates Alex Walker and Evan Elam were both just one stroke behind him, each with a 47. The Indians’ Tyler Ruffner shot a 51 fort the day while Cooper Hankins finished with a 61 and Dayton Tabbert would go 666 for the day.
2024 OLNEY CHAMBER BIKE CLASSIC
(OLNEY) The 2024 Chamber Bicycle Classic & Family Fun Fest is this Saturday in the Olney City Park with kid’s bike races, face painting, tattoos, carnival games, and free shirts for participants in the races. The scheduled includes bike registration from 9:00 to 10:30, free activity booths open from 10:00 until the end of the races, and free kid’s races for those ages 2 to 12, starting with the AmTryke riders at 11:00.
