Fairfield was booming on Saturday, May 4, with young entrepreneurs for the annual Lemonade Day event hosted by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. There were a total of 30 stands and 70 kiddos participated in the event.
Best Taste Testing winners included 1st Place: Mary Green with The Little Lanely Bakery, 2nd Place - Kinsley and Levi White with ShowTime Lemonade, 3rd Place - Gracie Franco with Lemonade Sweets and Treats, and Honorable Mention - Bentley Franco with Lemontism. They dropped off their samples on April 18 and had their lemonade judged.
Best Marketing Awards went to 1st Place - Bittersweet Lemonade, Victor Sanchez; 2nd Place - Sassy Sisters, Avalynn, Madilynn, and Ensley Diaz; and 3rd Place - Lunar Lehmanade, Weston and Laney Lehman.
Best Customer Service went to 1st Place - Lakewood Kids Lemonade, Bentley, Faith, Greysen, Colton Williamson, 2nd Place Hattie’s Lemonade Hut, Hattie Chambers, and 3rd Place - Disney Dream Drinks, Abby Snider, Summer Blair and Emily Barandiaran.
Best Stand went to 1st Place - Lunar Lehmanade, Weston & Laney Lehman; 2nd Place - L&H Lemonade, Hannah Smith & Lily Maqourick, and 3rd Place - Easy Peasy Squeezy, Paisleigh & Millie Solley.
The Going the Extra Mile Award went to Falcone Twisted Treats and Drinks Falcons Youth Organization.
The Heart Lemmy Awards: 1) Caleb Weitner with Caleb’s Famous T-Rex Lemonade 2) Damian DeLeon, Zara Jimenez and Isabella DeLeon with 3 Sour Kidz Lemonade.
The Lil Lemmy Award went to Ensley Diaz, Sassy Sisters.
The Fan Favorite Award, voted by customers, went to Victor Sanchez, Bittersweet Lemonade.
The Mayor’s Choice Award went to ShowTime Lemonade, Kinsley & Levi White.
