Fire burns shooting range, gun shop in Dauphin County
Crews from departments in Dauphin and Cumberland counties are fighting a fire at 717 Armory, a gun shop and shooting range in Swatara Township. The fire call came in just after 3 p.m. Saturday, firefighters on the scene said. More than 90 minutes later, smoke continued to pour out of the Derry Street business’ roof, filling the air with the scent of burning rubber.

PHILADELPHIA – Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio decided he was going to send some extra pressure during an 11-on-11 session at Saturday’s training camp practice at the NovaCare Complex. Linebacker Bryce Huff became the extra man he was sending when he was lined up as a slot defender. Quarterback Jalen Hurts instantly saw Huff coming off the edge. Not panicking, Hurts looked at the pressure, made a move, and got the ball out quickly to running back Saquon Barkley for a first down.
High-Speed Chase in Franklin County Ends in Crash; Suspect Still at Large
A motorcyclist led State Police on a high-speed chase in Franklin County on a stolen bike, resulting in a crash and the motorcyclist escaping, according to filed charges. Allen Keesey, 43, of Chester County, faces felony charges for receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking, flight to avoid apprehension, and fleeing or attempting to elude an officer. He also faces a misdemeanor for recklessly endangering another person and multiple traffic violations.
