25 year old Lincoln man killed in shooting at a business parking lot in Southwest Lincoln
Lincoln, NEB — Lincoln Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in a business parking lot in Southwest Lincoln. On Friday July 5th, officers were sent to 1550 South Coddington Avenue on a report of gunshots and vehicles fleeing the scene. A 25-year-old Lincoln man was located in the area suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The 2024-25 Cozad Cheerleaders attended UCA cheer camp last week in Lincoln. With a week long camp, the cheerleaders and coaches pushed themselves hard to learn and perform routines and cheers.
