Then on July 27, while competing against Ireland, Baker would also become the U.S. Men’s Olympic leader in career tries scored, passing former leader and teammate Carlin Isles, according to Team USA .

In response to the achievement, Baker said to USA Rugby , “At the end of the day, it’s not about me, it’s about the team. If you look at those tries, every one came from someone doing their job. My job is just trying to finish for those guys, that’s what it’s about. It’s a team effort all the way around.”

The United States rugby team finished 8th overall.
