Redington Plumbing Company was founded by the grandfather of the current owners in 1929 when Kirkwood was still developing as a suburb. J.E. The July 2024 Webster Groves Women’s Garden Association Garden of the Month award goes to Heather and Jacob Budde of 24 Denver Place. Outstanding characteristics of their garden include a mix of Limelight Hydrangeas, Crepe Myrtles, Hinoki Fernsprays, hostas, Major Wheeler honeysuckle and a raised backyard pond teaming with koi fish, water lilies, water hyacinth, tadpoles and frogs. Their 4-year-old son also has his own miniature gnome garden.

Missouri Botanical Garden offering free tours for disability community
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Missouri Botanical Garden will offer free access tours and classes designed for the disability community. Throughout the summer and fall, they will be offering tours with both American Sign Language and audio description interpretation. The Garden has been teaming up with the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri Chapter to provide specialized tours to those with memory loss and their families.
This I-44 ramp closure in St. Louis could affect your commute
ST. LOUIS — Drivers coming across from the Metro East during the morning commute may want to take note of a big ramp closure off of Interstate 44 in the Soulard area. The Missouri Department of Transportation closed the ramp from westbound I-44 to Gravois Avenue last week, and it will stay closed for one more week. Crews have been working on curbing, drainage and guardrails.
