Wanted man out of Lenoir, Jones counties arrested in Wilson on multiple charges
WILSON, N.C. (WNCT) — A man who had failed to register as a sex offender in Jones County was arrested Tuesday in Wilson. Detectives with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office found John Anthony Rouse, 52, at 6275 N.C. Highway 111. Wilson County deputies and Lenoir County detectives searched the home and found Rouse in it.

Cops seek Honda driver in possible road rage shooting near Food Lion in Creedmoor
CREEDMOOR, N.C. (WNCN) — On Monday afternoon, the Creedmoor Police Department responded to a shooting that occurred near Food Lion on Wilton Avenue. Police said shots were fired from one vehicle into another as the two proceeded east on Wilton. They said one passenger of the vehicle was struck by the shots and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The victim is in stable condition and no other injuries have been reported.
