Kathy and Tracy Dancer, who purchased the building at a public auction, plan an “ongoing effort to revitalize the building and increase the useable commercial space. As part of their regular meeting Wednesday, USD 253 board members approved the tentative agreement for licensed professional staff. Among the package’s highlights was a better than 1 percent pay increase “across the board” according to Assistant Superintendent of Business Operations Pam Stranathan.

The Lawrence Public Library will celebrate 10 years in its renovated building as part of its annual summer reading Last Bash on Friday.
