    He's in the game: See what this Fall River local is rated in new college football game

    Get ready Greater Fall River college football fans, a new video game is out this week.

    EA Sports College Football 25 video game is set to be officially launched on July 19 with some of its players receiving access on Monday.

    More than 11,000 players are expected to be in the game and with more to follow in the coming week, according to EA Sports. College stars Quinn Ewers, Travis Hunter, and Donovan Edwards will grace the cover of the newest video game.

    The last time EA Sports had a video game was back in 2013.

    Wilfredo Aybar, Stanford, Fall River

    Standout attributes: Strength (81), Speed (76), Hit power (86)

    The Fall River native's first season with the Stanford Cardinals produced 26 tackles, including 13 solo tackles from the linebacker position. He also registered a sack. Aybar, junior, appeared in all 12 games with two starts. His first collegiate start came on Nov. 11 at Oregon State. He recorded four tackles, two tackles for losses and his first sack against No. 5 Washington. The 6-2, 245-pound linebacker set a career-high on tackles with six against California. Prior to Stanford, Aybar played at Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Conn. where he was ranked the No. 12 defensive end in the nation by ESPN. He is the son of Minelly Lugo and has one brother, Derek.
