Victims in Wednesday fatal crash on Interstate 80 near Robb Drive identified
The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner's Office has identified two people killed in a Wednesday crash on Interstate 80 near Robb Drive as Christian Alicea, 28, and Jacob Merritt, 25, of Reno. According to the medical examiner, Alicea died at the scene and Merritt was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center where he died. Both deaths were ruled accidental resulting from blunt force trauma. The Nevada State Police have released no details on the accident that occurred around 11 p.m. The RGJ will update this story as more information becomes available.
