the most boring star trek series ever. I bailed on the pilot and never looked back.

Voyager was a textbook case of what Star Trek had been made into from NextGen to Enterprise. Shallow character development that largely goes away the next episode and thin, facile plots that are easily resolved. Their sole innovation was gratuitous sexual content, which carried forward into Enterprise with T'Pol and the "decontamination gel" sequences! Sounds like they made Seven Of Nine into the Data of Voyager: an endless quest to gain humanity that seems to go backwards with every episode. Voyager had the greatest chance to do some truly interesting things in the Star Trek universe, but it degraded to NextGen-lite before the end of the first season. And NextGen was already lightweight Star Trek to begin with!
