That doesn’t mean the two programs won’t face off against one another. The fight will be more in the recruiting landscape than anywhere else.</p><p>The two teams have already faced off for one of the best wide receivers in the 2025 class. OU emerged victorious, at least for now, in the <a href="https://huskercorner.com/posts/nebraska-football-2024-spring-game-recruiting-weekend">fight for Cortez Mills</a>. That despite the fact that the Huskers worked hard to flip the Florida native just a few weeks ago.</p><p>Now the Nebraska football team is trying to show OU how much it stings to lose a fight like this, by swooping in an nabbing a prospect who was committed to Oklahoma until just a few days ago. Ka’Mori Moore is a defensive tackle out of Lee's Summit (Mo.) North who is now a free agent.</p><p>Moore announced on <a href="https://x.com/OUInsider/status/1839086352836493417">social media</a> earlier this week that he’d decided not to stick by his pledge to the Sooners. He was coached by now-<a href="https://huskercorner.com/posts/nebraska-football-new-additions-staff-01j42bc26191">Nebraska assistant Jamar Mozee</a> and is teammates with 2025 #Huskers four-star WR commit Isaiah Mozee. </p><p>Considering how quickly things can move in the recruiting world, it seems likely that the Huskers could end up getting a commit by the end of the weekend. However, he will need to visit Lincoln and see what the school has to offer beyond a rebuilding football team.</p><p>Moore had been committed to Oklahoma since July of 2023. He is considered a three-star prospect by both 247Sports and On3 and currently holds offers from Michigan State, Iowa State, and Miami (Ohio) in addition to the Nebraska football program.</p></div></body>
