Former Jaguars defensive end Marcus Stroud has plans to open a new restaurant downtown called Baby Got Brunch. The 5,000-square-foot restaurant will be located on the ground floor of the Residences at City Place condominiums. Stroud envisions the eatery as a place where diners will come for food, live music and conversation. The 94-seat restaurant and bar would offer all day brunch along with menu items like chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, macaroni and cheese, and short ribs.

UNC opened the season with six consecutive wins. The good start began in Charlotte, N.C., when they defeated South Carolina (31-17).
