    Over 2,500 in Faribault lost power in storms; Xcel crews cleared 5,000 trees statewide

    Several thunderstorms with winds reaching 50 mph or more left thousands of residents without power Thursday evening, but crews from Xcel Energy were on it for the city and the state at large.
