JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — A 33-year-old Illinois man drowned at Rockford Park on Big River in Jefferson County, Missouri. Guadalupe L. Lopez drowned around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, the Missouri Highway Patrol says. Lopez entered the water and went under and was pronounced dead by paramedics.
Marion County Board on split votes moves forward on window replacement projects
The Marion County Board has voted 8 to 5 to move forward with a $400,000 window replacement project at the courthouse. Altamont City Council Approves Contract For Sanitation Services
The Altamont City Council met for their regular meeting Monday and acted on a few different items. The Council voted to deny commercial use for 208A North Tenth St., in accord with the zoning board recommendation.
