The Illinois Treasurer’s Office has returned another missing Purple Heart. The latest medal has been returned to the family of Jerome Even of Park Ridge. He was awarded the Purple Heart in 1942 for his service during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Illinois governor finally signs key agreement to protect Great Lakes from invasive carp
Illinois has signed onto a key agreement that will unlock federal funds for a must-anticipated project to keep invasive carp out of the Great Lakes. Illinois Gov. J.B.
