If you've been feeling sick over the past couple of months, it may be due to a parasite that typically causes more illnesses in the summer months. A man from Collinsville is facing charges after authorities say he financially took advantage of an elderly victim. 50-year-old David Alred is charged with two counts of financial exploitation of an elderly person with a disability, along with theft of property by deception from an elderly person.
