TD Bank Golf Tournament raises $14,851 for NMCC Foundation
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – The 17th annual TD Bank Golf Tournament to benefit the NMCC Foundation took place on August 15 at the Presque Isle Country Club. This year’s event raised $14,851 to support students at Northern Maine Community College, drawing the largest number of teams since 2019. A total of 21 teams, comprising 88 golfers, teed off in the annual scramble.

Man charged, woman issued a summons after money used to bail inmate found to be counterfeit
ROCKLAND, Maine (WABI) - Two people in Rockland are accused of using counterfeit money to bail out an inmate from the Knox County Jail. According to the Pen Bay Pilot, 35-year old Jessica Gray paid $560 in cash to bail out her sister. When the sheriff’s office deposited the money, the bank told them it was fake.
