An industrial property in Farmingdale has sold for $5.875 million.

200 Central LLC, an affiliate of a West Babylon-based restoration and disaster recovery contracting firm, purchased the 25,000-square-foot building on 1.17 acres at 200 Central Ave.

The property, which sold for about $235 per square foot, was formerly occupied by Gallant & Wein, a supplier of voice, data, security and electronics products.

Desmond Mullins, Jason Miller and Jeff Schwartzberg of Premier Commercial Real Estate represented the seller, SHJ Realty LLC, and procured the buyer in the sales transaction.

“There’s very, very limited industrial inventory, particularly in this size range, so we had a lot of interest in the property,” Schwartzberg said.
