One injured in Galesburg shooting incident
One person was injured as a result of a shooting incident in Galesburg. According to a press release, on July 6 at approximately 11:48 p.m., the Galesburg Police Department responded to a report of a shooting on S. Cherry St. Upon arrival, officers found a victim of a gunshot wound in the street. Officers provided lifesaving treatment until medical personnel could arrive.
