FARMVILLE — Judy McCoy, a certified nursing assistant at PruittHealth-Farmville and 30-year resident of Snow Hill, was named Caregiver of the Year for PruittHealth.

Each year, the organization, with more than 13,800 team members in five states, selects its top 10 caregivers. The Caregiver of the Year award honors PruittHealth employees who have been with the company for a minimum of one year, display a reputation for providing sustained excellent customer service, and symbolize the meaning of “Committed to Caring,” which is central to PruittHealth’s core values.

A PruittHealth caregiver for 29 years, McCoy completed the Senior CNA program and serves as a leader to others – so much so that all new partners train with her.

She is described as a kind soul who enjoys her job and always goes above the call of service. She takes particular care to ensure that patients look and feel their best, and she hopes to continue to be a blessing to them for years to come.

In September, McCoy will celebrate 30 years with PruittHealth. As a senior certified nursing assistant (CNA), she continually shows compassion and respect for patients as she cares for them.

She is described as a hard worker with a heart of gold, dedicated to center and its patients. McCoy says, “Nothing tops working at PruittHealth=Farmville.”
