Warehouse Food Hall

One of my favorite parts of my journeys is finding some amazing, locally owned restaurants in the towns and areas that I visit. That is why I was so excited to visit the Warehouse Food Hall in Craig, Colorado. The Warehouse is a collection of several locally owned food stands all under one roof. There is the Food Bar, that has bowls and salads. The Warehouse Grill that has burgers fries and apps. Sauce ’em Up BBQ for BBQ and Super Slice for pizza and flatbreads. Each spot also has some specials and there is a bar as well for all your adult beverage needs.

I loved seeing all these different restaurants coming together to form their own community to help serve the bigger community! When I stopped in a group came over from the local graduation and it seemed like everyone in the place knew each other and it gave off a really nice and friendly vibe. Plus, they do events and have bands on occasion so it is really a perfect one-stop spot in Craig.

The Food!

The Food Hall is a great environment but the important part is definitely the FOOD! I tried a couple of different things from the different booths. First, when I walked in I got an explainer from the Food Bar and they explained the whole system. Then they told me that they had a special of a Prime Rib sandwich for the day. I am not one to pass on prime rib in any form! I also popped over to the grill to get a side of fries and noticed they also had my favorite appetizer, fried mushrooms. As a thorough journalist I figured I should try those too!

Prime Rib Sandwich

The Prime Rib Sandwich was really good. The meat was tender, juicy and really flavorful! There was a touch of horseradish that gave the sandwich a bit of a bite back that I really liked. The bread was nice and soft and I really enjoyed the sandwich.

Fries and Mushrooms

I judge my fried mushrooms pretty seriously and I was really happy with the friend mushrooms at the Food Hall. They were moderately breaded but the mushroom flavor really came through. The best part, is usually the hot grease shoots out and burns my mouth when I bite into these but here that didn’t happen!

I got the waffle fries, because waffle fries are amazing, and these were really good. They were fried crispy on the outside but still a bit softer on the inside. I would say they had a bit too much salt for me but overall really good!

I really had an enjoyable experience at the Warehouse Food Hall in Craig. It had a great vibe and atmosphere and the food was really nice as well. If you find yourself in Craig, make sure to give all the local vendors a shot at the Warehouse Food Hall!

Finding Warehouse Food Hall

The Warehouse Food Hall is located at 1589 W Victory Way in Craig. It is just off of US 40. There are parking spots next to the restaurant. The hall is closed on Tuesdays. It is open 11am – 3pm and then 4pm – 9pm the rest of the weekdays and open 11am – 9pm on weekends.
