Montgomery College, Maryland-Transition to Nursing Course
Hi, I'm an LPN and I'm about to start taking the required prerequisites, beginning this fall before applying to the Montgomery College nursing program. Are there any nurses or students on this forum, who've been through the Intensive 10-Week Summer Course for LPNs, Military Medics/Corpsmen, and Paramedics to Transition to the Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program? How is the program? I'll be attending one of the information sessions next year but until then, I'm trying to gather some information from anyone who has been through the program. If I'm reading what's on MC's website correctly, after the 10 week course, there's only two additional semesters. Then you graduate and become eligible to take the NCLEX?
