Downtown High-Visibility Patrol Bolsters Public Safety with 18 Arrests and Community Engagement in Pittsburgh
The streets of the Central Business District saw heightened activity from Downtown High-Visibility Patrol officers during the week of July 22-28 as displayed in a detailed City of Pittsburgh blotter report published on July 29th. With a concerted focus on maintaining public safety, the officers' efforts resulted in 18 arrests at the Downtown Public Safety Center alongside 34 non-traffic citations and 19 parking citations.
