FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Fayette County woman was able to escape after being kidnapped and tortured.

On July 2nd, 2024, Senior Trooper T.D. Richardson was alerted to a disturbing incident that had unfolded over the previous few days in the Fayette County area.

According to the undersigned officer’s report, the trooper was approached by a female victim at the Fayette County Magistrate Courts , who detailed a harrowing ordeal involving a man named Mr. Michael Hudson. The victim claimed that on June 30th, 2024, the accused, Mr. Hudson, had arrived unannounced at her residence on Hunter Ridge Road and made a chilling threat – if she did not leave with him immediately, “someone will die.”

Terrified, Ms. Fisher said the accused then physically pushed her against her own car, yelling and screaming that she would never be allowed to leave his sight. To add to the horror, the victim reported that she had seen Mr. Hudson brandishing a large, menacing-looking blade knife during this confrontation. Fearing for her life, the female felt she had no choice but to comply with the accused’s demands and leave with him.

The trooper’s report went on to state that, according to the victim’s account, she was then forced to spend the night in a tent with Mr. Hudson, with him repeatedly warning that he would kill her if she tried to escape.

The next day, July 1st, the victim managed to return to her home, but the torment continued – when she tried to pack up her children and flee, Mr. Hudson chased after her, striking her car windows and even turning off the vehicle to prevent her departure.

He allegedly told her that he would simply “kidnap her” and that she was now “stuck” with him. Terrified, she said she had no choice but to comply further, traveling with the accused to the Thurmond area. However, while stopped at a rest area, the woman seized an opportunity to flee with her children, finally making her way to the magistrate’s office to report the harrowing ordeal and seek help from the authorities.

    Hudson was charged with kidnapping.
