    Tyson Foods suspends John Randal Tyson after another alcohol-related arrest

    Tyson Foods suspended John Randal Tyson as chief financial officer after he was arrested early Thursday, the company said .

    State of play: Tyson faces three charges — driving while intoxicated, an improper turn or U-turn, and careless driving, according to the Washington County Detention Center .


    • Tyson was arrested by University of Arkansas police. He was booked into the Washington County Detention Center at 1:32am Thursday and released about nine hours later on an $1,105 bond.
    • Curt Calaway will serve as Tyson's interim CFO.

    Flashback: Tyson pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and public intoxication after a Fayetteville woman told police she found him asleep in her bed in November 2022. A judge ordered him to pay fines of $150 on each charge, plus court costs, for a total of $440.

    What's next: A court date for his latest charges is set for July 15.
