The Fayetteville City Council meets tonight and will consider:

    • Committing the remaining $185,005 in American Rescue Plan Act money to an assistance program designed to help families with low to moderate incomes afford child care. The City Council previously approved $2 million for the program.
    • An additional $101,500 for design services for Walker Community Park. The city has already budgeted $2.9 million. The work will include projects like replacing the playground, along with adding three pickleball courts and four volleyball courts.

If you go: 5:30pm at City Hall.
