This is the best fried chicken in Arkansas, according to Yelp

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Looking for some comfort food to help you continue celebrating summer? Yelp says it has you covered with the best fried chicken in the Natural State.

National Fried Chicken Day is on July 6 and the Yelp Elite Squad has selected the best fried chicken in every state to celebrate.

The rankings were created based on reviews from Yelp’s Elite Squad, a group of reviewers who are most active and “role models on and off the Yelp site,” according to the review website.

Yelp says the best fried chicken is Dot’s Nashville Hot Chicken in Fayetteville.

Dot’s Nashville Hot Chicken is a food truck on North College Avenue that opened in 2017 after Russell and his wife Sarah moved to Fayetteville from Nashville.

The restaurant’s website says it sticks with tradition using a cayenne dominant dry rub to create “the hottest chicken in the state.”

“Burning your face but keeps you coming back for more because of flavor and the juicy, tenderness of the local chicken,” the website says.
