Week ahead in NWA: Music, cake and summer swimmin'

Summer's at its peak, meaning it's time to get out and do something. Here are some ideas:

🐘 Cage The Elephant — The show at the Walmart AMP in Rogers is tonight at 6:30pm. Buy tickets .

🎤 Get souled out — Lake Street Dive performs at The Momentary Green at 6pm Wednesday. General admission tickets start at $59 ($47 for members).

🎂 Deck-a-dent — Take a cake-decorating class Thursday, complete with accents of hand-tied ribbon bows, at Milieu Studio NWA in Springdale. Hours are 6:30-7:30pm. Register for $40 .

🍿 Swim-in — Take the kids to see Kung Fu Panda 4 at Wilson Park Pool in Fayetteville on Friday; the movie starts about 8:45pm. Tickets are $1 in advance or $2 at the door.
