FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The city of Fayetteville has launched an aquatics feasibility study to analyze the community’s needs and desires related to aquatics facilities.

The Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department says the study will guide the future of aquatics in Fayetteville, aiming to bring modern facilities that better serve the entire community.

“This study will guide the future of aquatics in Fayetteville, aiming to bring modern facilities and features that better serve the entire community,” said Alison Jumper, director of Parks, Natural Resources and Cultural Affairs.

The parks department says in May, the Fayetteville City Council approved an agreement with Water Technology Inc. to develop and help carry out the study, which will be based on extensive public input, market analysis and aquatics trends.
