    New River Gorge National Park and Preserve & Friends of NRGNPP to host volunteer recruitment event

    GLEN JEAN, WV (WVNS) — New River Gorge National Park and Preserve (NRGNPP) and Friends of New River Gorge National Park and Preserve encourage will soon be holding a community outreach support event spotlighting the Trail Volunteer Program there and at Bluestone National Scenic River.

    The event take place on Tuesday, July 23, and run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bridge Brew Works located in Fayetteville, WV. Park staff will be in attendance at the event to provide up-to-date information on trail volunteer events, information pertaining to the park’s Adopt-A-Trail program and more upcoming volunteer opportunities within the park.
