Bucks County Community College is calling on creative young minds to enter the 37th annual Bucks County High School Poet of the Year contest for the chance to win $300. Summer internships at Sesame
Sesame Place Philadelphia has implemented a new summer internship program. Internships will be both paid and eligible for college credit where applicable. Internships begin in May and run through August, built to fit the schedules of college students. Potential interns have the option to select one of four paths that match their skills and interests: Revenue, Operations, Management or Entertainment. Interns will also be provided opportunities for professional development, consisting of weekly seminars, networking, skill development and mentorship from park leaders.

Bucks breast cancer community to receive $138K from Main St.
Main St., an experience-based, community-driven nonprofit dedicated to local breast cancer patients, has concluded its sixth and largest fundraising season to date. Through the support of local residents and businesses from participating towns and destinations, including Newtown, Carversville, Doylestown, Peddler’s Village, Perkasie, New Hope, Shops at Valley Square, Dublin Town Center and Thompsonville (Thompson car dealerships), Main St. will donate $138,000 to benefit local breast cancer patients across Bucks County.
