Elmo’s Springtacular returns to Sesame Place
Sesame Place is gearing up for springtime fun with the return of Elmo’s Springtacular, the park’s annual celebration of spring. Elmo’s Springtacular begins Saturday, April 13, and runs uniquely-themed events each weekend through Sunday, June 16, including three all-new events for 2024 and the re-opening of the Sunny Day Carousel, Sesame Place’s most popular attraction.
St. Mary orthopedic surgeon is helping kids in Kenya
Dr. Eric Gokcen, an orthopedic surgeon at St. Mary Medical Center, is quite the busy guy … but he wouldn’t have it any other way. When he’s not treating patients for foot and ankle problems in Bucks County, Gokcen can be found in Kenya, where he regularly visits for multi-month (or sometimes multi-year) medical missions to treat patients and educate Kenyan surgeons on advanced procedures.

Students from the Neshaminy High School Interact Club have partnered with local businesses and groups to raise funds for a child on Sunshine Foundation’s waiting list. Money raised will help answer the dream of Aaidyn Butcher, 5, who is diagnosed with level 3 severe autism and developmental delays. Bensalem Police recently received several reports of unknown persons calling residents and posing as Bensalem Township Police Officers. During the phone call, they sometimes identify themselves using an actual officer’s name. They often state that someone in the home has missed a Grand Jury date or hearing and owes money to avoid criminal or civil penalties.
Neshaminy Valley Music Theatre presents ‘Mary Poppins’

Bensalem Police are investigating a retail theft that occurred at Kohl’s, 2325 Street Road, on March 17. At about 5:15 p.m., two unknown Hispanic females entered the store and stole about $1,300 worth of fragrances. They then fled the area in a dark-colored sedan without paying for the merchandise.

It was reported that an unknown male entered the store and stole approximately $100 worth of Red Bull, then fled the area without paying for the merchandise. He was described as a white or Hispanic male wearing a black hat, red trench coat, gray sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.
