The Rutland Volunteer Fire Department will host a drive-thru chicken barbecue on Sunday, September 8 at the fire hall on 28502 State Route 126. The meal costs $13 and includes a half-chicken, macaroni salad, baked beans and a roll. Half-chickens are also available for $9. The event runs from 11:30 a.m. until all are served.
