ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - One person is dead Sunday following a single-car crash on Interstate-170. The crash happened before 1 p.m. in the Northbound lanes of I-170 near St. Charles Rock Road. ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A 40-year-old man is charged with fatally shooting his girlfriend on Friday in Dutchtown. St. Louis prosecutors have charged Derrick A. Smith, of St. Louis, with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm in the death of the 38-year-old victim, who has not been identified publicly.
