City Construction Projects Continuing to Progress
Summer construction season is progressing well in Madison, despite heavy rains last month. The NE 3rd street mill and overlay was completed in early June. On the N. Hosted by Superior Nutrition, they raised $3,000 last year, and this year, they passed that amount in donations ahead of the event. SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Fun and Friends is a nonprofit that is new to Sioux Falls this year. Their mission is to plan fun gatherings for kids with disabilities. Pierre School Board To Meet Tonight
PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is holding it’s July meeting tonight. The meeting is the Board’s organizational meeting meaning a long agenda with few action items to consider. The Board will consider approval of the agenda then hear comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Members of the Board and public will have a chance to make comments before the Oath of Office will be given to Randy Hartmann and Dennis James as they begin new terms on the Board. The Board will also consider the selection of a new President and Vice President and assignments to standing committees. Action items for the Board including considering approval of final reading and adoption of handbook revisions for T-F Riggs High, Georgia Morse Middle and elementary schools. First reading will be given to proposed changes to the Classified Employee handbook. The Board will also consider action on the South Dakota High School Activities Association run-off election, donations, resignations and contracts. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at the District Administration building at 5:30 pm.
