Argus Leader suing Sioux Falls over city's official newspaper dispute
The Argus Leader is suing the city of Sioux Falls over a dispute about the city’s official newspaper. Earlier this summer, the city council named The Dakota Scout as the city’s new official paper. The Argus Leader had been the city’s paper of record for several decades.
Police: Woman used gas can to set car, tree on fire
Sioux Falls police say they arrested a woman on Sunday morning after she set fire to a car and tree in northern Sioux Falls. Police spokesman Sam Clemens said the woman poured gasoline from a canister onto a car in the 800 block of North Prairie Avenue before setting it on fire. She then allegedly lit a tree on fire near the 900 block of West 2nd Street.
